The venue is situated in a beautiful countryside, just 10 minutes drive from Durbanville and only 30 minutes from the Cape Town CBD. The Rondekuil Venue is uniquely decorated; there are breathtaking views and the food is scrumptious, which contributes to making functions held at the venue most enjoyable and memorable.

The Rondekuil Venue Area

Floor Space and Table Layout

The venue comfortably accommodates up to 130 guests with sufficient space left for dancing. The positioning and layout of the tables will be done to your requirements. Round tables, that seat up to six guests, are normally provided.

For smaller functions, a set of attractive screens can be used to screen off an area of the venue, which is not required for the function – this tends to leave the space, being used for the function, more cosy and intimate.

Serving Food

Food is normally served buffet-style and is presented on two, large granite tables on the side of the venue nearest to the kitchen.

Typical menu options can be viewed by clicking on: Menu Selection. Should a client require certain food to be served, which is not included in the standard menu options given below, this may be arranged after consultation with Rondekuil Management.

Cash Bar

A cosy, cash bar is located in one corner of the venue and there are normally up to two friendly and helpful barmen in attendance. If a “tab” is run then a cash deposit is required to cover the cost of drinks ordered by guests

Accommodation at Rondekuil

Comfortable accommodation at reasonable prices can be provided at Rondekuil in five accommodation units for up to 26 guests. Additional accommodation can be hired through Rondekuil at guest houses in Durbanville - which are a pleasant 10 to 15 minute drive from Rondekuil.

Prices and Costs

Hire of Venue

	Friday to Sunday & Public Holidays	Monday to Thursdays

Up to 40 guests:	R5 000	R4 000
41 to 80 guests:	R6 500	R5 000
81 to 130 guests:	R8 000	R6 000

The above venue hire fee is normally increased on 1 September each year by the anticipated rate of inflation.

Winter Discount on the Venue Hire Fee
A 15% discount is applicable from 1 May to 31 August each year.

Securing Deposit
A deposit of R3 000 needs to be paid up front in order to secure the hiring of the venue.

The venue hire price includes:

VAT & service charge
All tables, chairs, crockery, cutlery, glassware & staff
White linen & serviettes
Secure nearby parking
Bar staff
Background music system

The price excludes:

All décor other than standard
Food and beverages
Any live music requirements such as a DJ or band

Deposit for Pontential Damages

Refundable deposit required to cover any damages and breakages:	R1 000
Catering by Rondekuil

The cost of a scrumptious meals applicable until 31 August 2012 : Three course meal (Option No.1): Spitbraai (Option No.2): Typical menus offered can be viewed by clicking on: Menu Selection Other menus, based on specific requirements by a Client, can be accommodated by mutual agreement between Rondekuil Management and our Client. Corkage

A wine corkage charge is levied on wine supplied by a Client:	R20/bottle
Refunds
Within seven days after the function, any amount of the tab deposit or the breakage deposit that remains unused by the end of the function reception, will be refunded to our client by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT).
