Rondekuil is located in the heart of beautiful countryside, just 10 minutes drive from Durbanville and only 30 minutes from the Cape Town CBD. Wedding Reception Area
The venue comfortably accommodates up to 130 guests, including floor space for dancing. The positioning of tables will be done to our client’s requirements. A long table is provided for the bridal group and round tables, seating up to six per table, are provided for guests. The wedding ceremony can be held in a hired tent or gazebo on our lush green lawns. For smaller weddings, a set of attractive screens can be used to screen off a section of the venue floor space – this tends to make the remaining function space more cosy and intimate. Large or small, our attention to detail remains the same. Accommodation for Wedding Guests
Comfortable accommodation can be provided at Rondekuil for up to 24 guests at reasonable prices – see the accommodation. If a wedding reception is booked at Rondekuil over a weekend, we normally require guests to book for 2 evenings. Additional accommodation is available at guesthouses in Durbanville, which are a 10 to 12 minute drive from Rondekuil. Serving Meals
Your wedding meal can be served plated, or buffet-style from two large granite tables to the side of the venue nearest to the kitchen. The menu options can be viewed by clicking on: Menu Selection in this wedding information pack. Alternative choices can be arranged in consultation with Rondekuil Management and the Caterer. Cash Bar
A cash bar is located in one corner of the venue and there are normally one or two helpful barmen in attendance. If a “tab” is run, a cash deposit is required to cover the cost of drinks ordered by guests. If preferred by our client, we can arrange to run a combination of a cash bar and ‘tab’. Hire of Venue
The above venue hire fee is normally increased on 1 September each year by the anticipated rate of inflation. Winter Discount on the Venue Hire Fee A 15% discount is applicable from 1 May to 31 July each year. Securing Deposit A deposit of R3 000 needs to be paid up front in order to secure the hiring of the venue. The price includes:
