The wedding information pack, which is given below the enquiry form, should contain most of the information you might need for planning your big day, but we are only too happy to answer any questions.

The venue comfortably accommodates up to 180 guests, including floor space for dancing. The positioning of tables will be done to our client’s requirements. A long table is provided for the bridal group and round tables, seating up to 6 to 10 guests per table, are provided for guests.
For smaller weddings, a set of attractive screens can be used to screen off a section of the venue floor space – this tends to make the remaining function space more cost and intimate. Large or small, our attention to detail remains the same.

The wedding ceremony can be held in the venue (usually held on the dance floor) or the ceremony can be held on the lawns below the venue in the open or in a tent, marque or gazebo, which are hired and erected by our clients.
Accommodation for Wedding Guests
Comfortable accommodation can be provided at Rondekuil for up to 24 guests at reasonable prices – see accommodation. If a wedding reception is booked at Rondekuil over a weekend, we normally require guests to book accommodation for 2 evenings. However, three accommodation units in Rondekuil’s Country Lodge, which is located next to the Rondekuil Venue and that can sleep up to six guests, is available to guests, attending a wedding, for one night stays over weekends. Additional accommodation is available at guesthouses in Durbanville, which are a 10 to 12 minute drive from Rondekuil.
Your wedding meal can be served plated, or buffet-style from two large granite tables to the side of the venue nearest to the kitchen.

A cash bar is located in one corner of the venue and there are normally one or two helpful barmen in attendance. If a “tab” is run, a cash deposit is required to cover the cost of drinks ordered by guests.
Details of all wedding arrangements will be communicated during our wedding discussions, which will help ensure that the event is planned thoroughly so that that you will have peace of mind and you, your family and friends will enjoy your reception to the full.

Winter Discount on the Venue Hire Fee 2017
The following venue hire discounted prices are applicable from 1 June to 31 August 2017:

A deposit of R5 000 needs to be paid up front in order to secure the hiring of the venue. This deposit is part of the venue hire fee.
The above venue hire fees are applicable from 1 October 2016 until 30 September 2017 and will increase by about 10 to 15 % on 1 October 2017. The food price increases will be more-or-less in line with the annual inflation in food costs. Please contact us prices applicable from now until 30 September 2016.

- Tables centre pieces and flowers
- For Self-Catering only: the following are not provided free of charge (also see below): Crockery, cutlery, white linen (including napkins) and serving and cleaning staff
- Food and beverages
- Any music requirements such as a DJ or band and sound equipment
Contingency and Breakage Deposit

Catering by Rondekuil
|We have introduced 3 new menus, which are attached and below are the prices for these menus:|

|We can also offer a lamb spit braai at about R275/guest - the actual price depends on the number of courses required.|
|The above prices increase by about 10 to 15 per cent from 1 October 2017 onwards.|
The above menu options can be viewed by clicking on: Menu Selection. From 1 October each year catering prices will increase by about 10 percent. The above menu prices include the supply of crockery, cutlery, glassware, white linen (including napkins) and extra staff for serving and cleaning.
We are willing to discuss and provide a quote for any alternative menu you may wish to have served at the reception.
|The cost for self-catering will be R65/guest and entitles you to make use of Rondekuil’s catering facilities (eg crockery, cutlery, glassware, white linen (including napkins), limited use of kitchen equipment etc and a Duty Manager as well as staff for serving and cleaning). When a client undertakes to self cater, the food needs to be prepared off-site and merely kept hot and served at the Rondekuil Venue.|
A cash bar or a “tab” can be run. If a tab is run, a deposit for the required tab amount needs to be paid with other charges and fees before the wedding date.
|A wine corkage charge is levied on wine supplied by a client:
Corkage needs to be paid, with other charges, before the wedding.
|Within fourteen days after the wedding, any amount of the tab deposit or the contingency and breakage deposit that remains unused by the end of the wedding reception, will be refunded to our client by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT).|
